This seat converts from a seat to a bed in one single easy action. The sleeping platform is made of sprung beech slats. The futon mattress is made up a combination of cotton, bonded felt and rebound polyester in an 8-layer mix to provide a comfortable and supportive futon for regular use. This base is flat packed and takes approximately an hour to assemble. We have assembled every base that we sell and are able to help with enquires concerning assembly.
